IPSO Alliance member Antmicro recently published a Docker image making it very easy to try out the Emul8 framework, whose primary aim is to enable debugging, testing and continuous integration of IoT networks. Emul8 lets you run unmodified binaries for ARM-based and other nodes, including a variety of Cortex-M boards, on a PC.

The usage is described in Antmicro’s blog: http://antmicro.com/Blog/2016/01/making-emul8-easier-with-docker/.

Questions? E-mail Michael for help adopting Emul8 as productivity tool, porting it to other platforms or creating extra tools and setups which can greatly accelerate and improve quality of development of embedded systems.
