Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) confirmed as Knowledge Partner for Autonomous Car Detroit
Joel Hoffmann has over 30 years of experience developing new markets, with heavy focus on automotive software and open development concepts in the connected car segment. He is currently developing and executing the automotive engagement strategy for OMA.
OMA seeks to build a bridge from its 20 years of successful open standards development in the mobile and network operator space to the automotive need for enhanced communication around the internet of things.
Previously, Hoffmann served as an Automotive Strategist for the Intel Automotive Solutions Division where he successfully grew the first open automotive software consortium, GENIVI Alliance, as Director of Marketing and Intel representative to Board.
Automotive Megatrends conferences are designed to connect and inform the stakeholders who are shaping the automotive industry of tomorrow. Our flagship Detroit-based conference, Automotive Megatrends USA, sold out in 2015, so for 2016 we’re growing it to encompass three, back-to-back, one-day events.
Autonomous Car Detroit will bring together the stakeholders who are making the self-driving car a reality.
